PIC ICD2 PICKIT2 Universal Programming Adapter Board The Universal Programming Adapter board is specifically designed to be used with the popular PICkit 2 or PICkit3 programmer. Aligning the 28-pin and 40-pin microcontrollers, the flag line in the A position may cause a short-circuit on the cap. The microcontroller with 8, 14, 18, and 20 pins is positioned on the left side of the flag line (B), with a shorting cap in place at position B. For programming purposes, use either the ICD2, KIT2, KIT3 crystal head or 6Pin Block connection. (Please note that a separate program is required for the seat.)
