I am finally back in the gym after recovering from a recent injury. Every cycle is the same as I get older. Train hard, get hurt, heal for a long period of time, get lazy and lose all progress…then struggle to get back into the gym. So my goal this time around is to skip that terrible step of getting injured; which leads to a much longer than intended vacation. I decided that the smallest possible increment would be a safer way to make gains without the stress of hurting myself. Since getting the set of weights, I have continued to make good progress without pulling or tearing anything. You aren’t going to wow anyone with such a small plate added to your stack, but at least it allows you to safely get to the 2.5 pounds mark without overdoing it.I have been very happy with this purchase. The weights are consistent and well-made and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to fine tune their workout while staying safe and smart about the process.
