First, I think the design, with the bright red, blue and yellow geometric shapes, is absolutely stunning and the box looks great in my indoor gym room. I even like that each side is labeled with its height so I don’t have bother to think about which side is which height.I use the box primarily for box squats, for seated reverse rows and some other resistance-band exercises, and as a base for seated wrist curls and reverse wrist curls because it’s easier than setting up my adjustable weight bench for those exercises. I occasionally use it for mountain climbers, decline push-ups, and step-ups. I find it am almost perfect balance between cushioning and firmness for those purposes. The dimensions are also good, though I would prefer an 18″ side for box squats in place of the 14″ side. (Some small plyo boxes, like the one from Rep Fitness, have 16x18x20″ dimensions.) An advantage of the smaller 14″ side is that it’s easier to straddle the box when sitting, which I like to do sometimes. As a plyo box, which I don’t use it for, I found that it was slightly softer than the other larger soft, stackable plyo boxes that I have. I also found the 14″ side a bit small for landing on during jumps, especially when you consider that the edges depress and the stable jumping surface is actually small than 14″ inches. So you might want to consider a larger size if your main use would be as a plyo box.Other sellers seem to offer the same plyo box, so you might want to compare prices.Overall, for my uses (primarily as a box squat box), this is a really comfortable box.
