Pick courgettes (zucchini) when small to encourage more fruits to develop. Special note:The leaves of Courgette, Gold Rush are naturally yellowish. Courgettes can be subject to powdery mildew in hot, dry conditions, so keep well-watered. Growing instructions:Sow April-May at 20 deg C or in the garden after the last frost. Plant 60 cm apart or grow single plants in large containers. Cooking:Slice and steam, fry or bake. Dip freshly-opened flowers in batter and deep fry.
